I've never gone on it but it looks funnI've seen it go by Elmira (which is where I live) so many times

I gave it four stars because there are no restrooms or water. I guess the idea is you can use those once you are on the train, but what if you have a long wait for a train?nThe entranceway goes under the tracks, and there are both stairs and wheelchair ramps.nThey did think ahead when planning this station, the only developed parking is on the NW side, but there are stairs and ramps to the SE side, which I assume they are going to open once that side gets more development.

What is the point of this station? It is not near anything and I'm not aware of any plans to build around it. Should have built in Dixon

My husband and I just recently used the Fairfield-Vacaville station to take a trip to Colorado. It's great to have this station close to where we live, BUT it's not convenient for Seniors with difficulties to get to the train platform.nFor us Seniors, the powers that be should have thought of US and built a walkway from the parking lot over to the train platform.nI say, Very Poor Planning.

No facilities as in no restrooms or water. Very transit unfriendly built for cars only. Terrible bus connections unsafe to ride or walk. No transit available to Vacaville or Dixon and not close to anything. In past, train stations help build local walkable communities like the Suisun, Martinez, Davis stations. This is the worst type of 1980s car reliant planning.
