Hillsdale

I love Hillsdale.

I play train sim world on my Xbox and I like the train service Home run.

Frequent train service with flaws. There is no overpass here, so you either have to walk all the way down to street level then cross under the busy road underpass and walk up the steps, or use the crossing on the tracks. At night, there was a 'single tracking' in operation for works on the line so everyone had moved to the northbound platform to wait for the southbound train. About a minute before the train arrived, the 'single tracking' ended, but NOBODY TOLD US. There were lots of people running across while the barriers were down as they were afraid the train would leave, while most other people waited for the gate to rise. This is a large flaw Caltrain need to fix because at that time of the day trains were only hourly or less. If they are going to do 'single tracking', then they need announcements or a member of staff to tell confused customers.

The whole station was closed for construction

This is the closes Caltrain station to the Hillsdale Mall (located across the street). Friends lived in the new development close by so this was very convenient for me when taking the train to visit them. Parking has been good overall, BUT there has been construction, so the amount of spaces may have decreased.
