Bayside Elementary School

The school has almost 0 regard for child safety. Even after an incident that required my son to have surgery the school failed to improve supervision of the playground. Only to have a second incident happen with no supervision on the playground. While my child has to go seek out an adult who he finds are all in the cafeteria. The school then again fabricates the report from what I can gather is testimonies of 5 and 6 year old children (as was done in the past) on the playground because no adult was preset. When a child can not feel safe how are they expected to excel at school? Worst school in Imperial Beach. DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE.

I never like writting bad reviews but this time i had enough. Bayside has unprofessional staff rude and not very qualified. The front desk ladies are lazy they dont like it when u ask them to do something. The school did have less supervision staff but have implemented more staff but unfortunately still have some unqualified ones. Another thing is when u have a current situation and need to speak to the principal. U can only see him if u have an appointment. That is extremly ridicules i had a minor need of assistance my son was having an emotional break down and he had already missed school for it. So i wanted to speak to the principal to see if i should take my son home or leave him but once again. I had to make an appointment. What a horrible system. What i dont understand is if i u can only make appointment to see the principal then they should have that in the school rules or something so i can prepare myself if there is no assistance.

My kids attend Bayside Elementary and they have EXCELLENT Principal, teachers and staff there. My kids have excelled academically, socially while attending Bayside...
