My realtor was very helpful (e.g., finding a painter). However, my concern was the property was not yet listed and I showed the property. After I showed the property, I contacted the realtor to expect a cash offer. The cash offer was received and I accepted it. Two days after this, I showed both buyers the home again. When I mentioned to the realtor, I thought I should receive a discount on the commission since no marketing occurred and I did the showings the response was what if a lot of marketing had occurred and the house did not sell would I reimburse for this? I think it would have been a good faith gesture to offer a rebate or reduced commission. I talked with another realtor (not in the area) and people (in the area) they thought I should contact the broker about my concern.
