Beautiful experience in every way. Welcomed at Glass Pavilion entrance and door opened for us--what a lovely touch of hospitality! Renewed membership. Clerk knowledgeable. Museum has gone cash-less; credit card only. Looking forward to being able to sit, to watch full glass blowing demonstration. Come see the works of Monet, Rembrandt, van Gogh, Degas, Cezanne, and so many, many more! Tours available and are informative, interactive. And how could I forget: always free admittance, thanks to Mr. Libby's generosity and foresight.
This was so cool. My kids (12-16) even loved it. It's been deemed their new favorite museum and they want to come back soon. That is huge for kids.
This is a nice art museum. I went here while I was in Toledo and was satisfied with my experience. I drove here and parked in the museum’s parking lot, which was well maintained. I walked into the art museum and bought a ticket from the admissions desk at the entrance. This museum has nothing but glass sculptures. Glass sculptures are made by blasting a block of glass into the shape of what you’re trying to make, which looks pretty hard. I walked through the museum, which had lots of glass art such as bowls, vases, and random glass shapes. After walking through the museum, I left, satisfied with my experience. I gave this museum five stars because it has lots of nice glass art. Even the museum building is made entirely of glass.
The Glass Pavilion was lovely. They have some really cool glass pieces. The Ancient gallery was my favorite. Veteran friendly as well. Recommend visiting.
What a fabulous find! Parking is free on the street and so is the Glass Pavilion. It was so much more then I expected was beautiful in the white snow background.
