We live nearby and we were very excited. Very rarely complain but this place did everything they could to disappoint the evening. The person who rang up our meals overcharged by $6 per plate for the all you can eat meal. It was later explained that it was his first time ringing up dinners so we overlooked it. We ordered/paid upfront and it asked for a tip, we gave 25% only to later realize there is no waiter. Long wait, even before the dinner rush. Multiple confusing interactions with staff which was not prepared for the evening. The barbecue meals only came with a tiny cup of peach flavored sauce. We ended up paying extra for regular flavored sauce and we were told it would be brought to our table. 10 minutes later, still no sauce as our meat got cold. We had to go remind them of the sauce in order to get it, again only tiny cups of sauce that we paid extra for. Who has to pay extra for sauce at a barbecue place?? Then, we asked for more meat (to go with our new sauce) and that’s when we learned it was not all you can eat, as the guy upfront had told us. Overall, we paid over $50 for two beers, two portions of average pulled pork and average side dishes. And we served ourselves, no waiter, constant hassle, no water, no refills. Just not worth it. Too bad, we love Garrard County

Folks, if you like BBQ, this is THE PLACE to come to! From the time we hit the front door till the the time we left, nothing but 1st class service and FOOD! We even met the owrners! They have the BEST BRISKET that I have have had ANYWHERE! And the beer is GREAT ALSO! We will be back again with many of our friends!

Fantastic pulled pork sandwiches! The CryBaby sauce is not for hot BBQ beginners. Love the atmosphere and great people. Highly recommend!

Nothing was bad , everything was nice and fresh. The problem was the flavors. The mac and cheese was very average, nothing special. The baked beans tasted like canned beans , if I had to guess , I would say Van Camps beans. The pulled pork was also very average , not much smoke flavor at all. Just very mild flavor. And all the sauces were very basic , tasted like store bought sauces.
