Very thin walls, not at all worth the money especially if you have neighbors with dogs that bark out of control morning, day and night. Worst experience I have had!! You can live elsewhere and have the same issues but at least you can save 3-4K per year somewhere else!!nnThat was back in oct 6 months ago and not much has changed, 11:20pm yes pm dog barking through the walls , 6:10am same thing last Monday morning on Easter Sunday morning, all morning yesterday and now again a half hour ago!!! And now again this morning!!nnSave your money!!

Don’t waste your money here, very thin walls and pricy, not worth it. Today alone I’ve been listening to my neighbors dog bark through the walls on and off for 4 hours, this has been going on for 14 months. Several cars in the community’s with no mufflers or at least they need new ones, sounds like I live in a junkyard. Horrible experience!! Rent somewhere else and save 3-4K per yr.

I loved this community and hated to go UNTIL they charged us over 500 dollars for carpet replacement due to pet damage after we left?! Carpet was in great shape. Our small Jack Russell Terrier was not even allowed in rooms unless we were in there with him. Always kept doors closed! Asked for UV light pics that they claimed showed proof of pet urine damage and did NOT receive any with bill. First, I do not believe the damage was there. And second, what do non refundable pet fees cover??? So we paid 300 non refundable pet fee PLUS 30 a month pet fee for 18 months (totaling 540 equaling 840 together) PLUS you kept 99 refundable security deposit and NOW want another 400.56 paid to you to replace both bedroom carpets. Shame on you Redwood. Very disappointing.

We have lived here since December 2015. The community is relatively quiet and peaceful. Neighbors are friendly and there Is mix of families w/children, empty nesters, and people like us somewhere in the middle. Most residents have & walk dogs In the neighborhood. It’s not unusual to view the Redwood/Avon Lake eagles flying overhead or blue heron resting near the ponds. The open floor plans feel more like a ranch style single family home than an apartment. Although units are attached in groups and share a wall/walls, it’s rare to hear anything through the walls. Redwood Avon Lake is a very nice place to live.
