My daughter was planning to take my young granddaughter here and had to change plans last minute. So it ended up being me and my granddaughter going. I'm really glad I went and got to experience this place. We learned so much and really enjoyed all of the exhibits. Staff were very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. I hope to bring her back when she is a little bit older when she can absorb a little more.
It has been awhile since I went through this museum but from what I remember I know I didn't spend a lot of time here. I do remember thinking it was worth stopping by and I did enjoy walking through seeing the information presented.
This was our first time to Kentucky so going to the museum was eye opening. Your admission into the place including three other museums and a free tour. Great little gift shop inside and they have an Ale8 machine. This was our first time trying it... I did not know it has caffeine before I let my child try it.nGreat place to spend an afternoon.
Awesome displays. They were doing a lecture series and then had music in the foyer area. Impressed!
What a Kentucky gem! This is a wonderful spot to learn about Kentucky's past. Did you know that Willa Brown, the first African-American female pilot was from Kentucky? Or how about chewing gum? Invented right here in Kentucky! Wow!
