We have never received customer service like this before. We purchased some Emtek crystal door knobs from Homestead Hardware for part of our house a few years ago. John helped me order the right doorknobs and hardware. He exhibited such patience with me. We finished our basement and decided to complete the house with these beautiful doorknobs. Over time we have had a few issues. John of Homestead Hardware has provided free shipping and replaced any faulty products. He is knowledgeable, kind and efficient. We recently had problems with a bathroom doorknob. I believe my granddaughter may have had something to do with it disappearing from the door. John sent a replacement again. It has been a few years since we purchased that door knob. My husband and I are both so glad we did not go to a website where we would be forgotten after the purchase.
I can't speak highly enough of John and Deb. A few years ago, I decided to install all new door hardware for my entire house remodel. It was out of my budget but the hardware was solid and quality (a far cry from the junk at the local box stores). I wanted the good stuff. I shopped around a little, but I decided on Homestead Hardware because of his service. John was patient and helpful. Answered all my questions and taught me a lot about hardware. I received my order fast and 100% correct.nnFast-forward a few years. All my hardware works flawlessly except one knob. I contacted John to see if he could help. Without any questions, John offered a replacement under warranty. Best yet... since it was my garage door... John sent me the new handle first and allowed me plenty of time to remove the broken one and send it back. And he sent a pre-paid shipping label.nnI will always get my hardware from them. Thank you.
Great prices and even better customer support. John was patient with my questions and extremely responsive. I appreciated the order status updates. If I have any future door hardware requirements, Homestead will be my provider.
This is a great business to deal with. John has been excellent to deal with and they have great prices. Would definitely recommend and buy from them again.
Looks like nice stuff, but they do not disclose a 30% restocking fee. The door handles I ordered do not fit on my door, so I'm out $100 plus shipping to return the items.
