My son is a kindergartner so this is his first year in school prior he was in pre-K. The first half of the year was rocky but he was given a wonderful teacher (shout out Ms Galloway) and did great. It was rocky given Covid and having to be on campus sometimes then finally getting placed at home permanently. We opted for the second half of the school year to remain online figuring he’d keep his teacher but we weren’t notified till after we made that decision she was going back to in person teaching so he’d get another teacher. We were disappointed but hopeful. The first day after winter break my son logged on we hadn’t received any information from this teacher. She didn’t say good morning to the children or even mention coming back from break. She was dry. Not to mention he had no clue what was going on because she hadn’t sent any information to us like what learning group he was in and what times he should be logged on. I felt bad for my kid. I immediately reached out to the principal who said I should speak directly to the teacher. I did. Nothing really changed I’ve had to chase behind her multiple times for information for my son that we just mysteriously weren’t receiving. Still the same dry lessons not to mention the lessons changed. The assignment would say listen to the story but there was nothing to listen to it needed to be read to him. Now I work from home to keep him home with me but I in no way have time to read him a story in the middle of my work day then ask him questions about it. So I started asking on the assignments where can he listen to these?nWe asked on 1/29 after being fed up for Colton to be added to the list to return to in person in his original teachers class starting 4th quarter. We were told he was good to go. I still filled out the survey they sent for students that wanted to return later just for good measure. I told my job I’d be back in the office only to receive a call 10 days before the 4th quarter that out if 6 or open slots my survey came in at #7 and he wouldn’t be able to go back. That he’d have to stay with the AWFUL teacher and just a simple “sorry” from the dean. Nothing else.nI’m running around like a crazy person trying to get him enrolled somewhere because what he’s getting from Pinnacle isn’t nearly enough. 90 minutes with a teacher who doesn’t care if you grasp things or not a day isn’t enough and I feel guilty for having to work and not be able to give him more of my time.nPinnacle isn’t a place my son or my daughter who will be starting kindergarten next year can benefit from. Our experience has left the worst taste in my mouth and anyone who asks me about school I’m very quick to warn them against sending their kids there. That’s what this post is for. If you’re thinking of going, I’d think twice.

I have nothing bad to say about this school. With Covid making everything different this year, they made it a seamless and went above to make it as normal as possible. My son's kindergarten teacher Ms. Ioffe is amazing. Could not have asked for a better first teacher for my son.

I went there for 5 years till six grade. Not gonna lie it wasn't the best experience but it's not as bad as everyone says it is. Plus this school taught me about basketball. My favorite sport

I'm Very Disappointed In This School System & Principal. She allowed my kids to be physically assaulted, she had no questions of who why and what. No regards or concerns about what happened and how she carries her school. As a principal she should not be the last person arriving from the school. The younger children should not be smashed at the door with the older children waiting for someone to be let in.Mind you, this is a kindergartner and a third grader who doesn't know anyone for anyone to be bothering them. So as their mother I pulled my children out. The principal didn't consider having anyone monitor these children. They tell the parents daily oh they'll be safe, no worries. How?! They Say One Thing And Arec Doing Another Not Guaranteeing Us Parents Anything. I Even Asked To Request Someone To Stand Out There With The Children And She Wouldn't Allow It. Absurd! I'm Furious! No Child should be bullied and get away with it having to run through the hallway to get away from these boys in fear! Stand Up For Your v Children And Do What's Best For Them To Keep Them safe and that's grounds to remove my children who tolerates bullying. Very Disappointed!

Poor communication, good teacher (mrs. Iams), poor sports program, overall terrible school. My daughter did not like school as well.
