A great place! My father, an architect, helped remodel the historic house to bring it back to its glory days. They hold monthly historic talks which I love to go to, I always learn a lot. They also give students free group tours - ask your school to contact them for this benefit, they receive lots of letters from students thanking them. Compared to other historic homes, I bet you're going to love this one... lots to look at and knowledgeable people to assist you with questions. Volunteer time if you have interest and live near by. Or donate to help in the up-keep of the house. Or just show your support by visiting and telling others like I just did. Love their ice cream social each year!
