My fiancé and I have been living here for about two years now. Overall we love it, For the price we pay it’s a decent size apartment. Whenever we’ve had a problem maintenance has been here in no time and fix the problem immediately. Our only concern is that we’ve had a problem with our downstairs neighbor since we’ve moved in. They are absolutely ridiculous, we can hear from the second they get home to the second they go to bed them slamming stuff throughout the day and night. We are always getting woken up in the middle the night by the slamming. We’ve complain probably a dozen times, and we’ve been nothing but nice about it and still no effective measures have been taken. The apartment manager tells us to call the cops. She also claims that the people below us are “unaware” of what they’re doing. It’s extremely frustrating because we try to be as respectful as we can be but we signed a lease saying we will get quiet hours and that’s doesn’t happen. I’m not sure if the landlord doesn’t believe us or just doesn’t care.

My 89 year old mother in law lives here. She recently had the window to her car broken when someone broke into the garage and vandalized 11 cars. The garages have no dividing walls so if someone leaves their garage unlocked then they can gain access to all the cars in that building. Very convenient for a thief since they can take their time stealing because no one can see them. I think there should be a nighttime security officer or at the very least a good modern camera system. I understand there is a cost for a security officer but having one at least part time would be a good investment for them. A decent camera system doesn't cost that much either. She also had raw sewage flood her apartment while she was on vacation. Upon her return management replaced her carpet, but we had to move everything. They also did nothing about the water that was under her kitchen cabinets, nor did they move her stove and refrigerator and sanitize. After a call and compliant from me they came and changed her cabinet doors that were soaked with raw sewage, but that was all. Since so many seniors live there I think each building should have enough handicapped parking spaces to accommodate the number of seniors that reside in that particular building. Seniors should have access to the spots closest to the doors, especially in the winter. That doesn't cost them anything. Ultimately, it's a good deal in Middleburg Heights but could be much better.

After sending a request to viewnany available apartments,nI received a friendly e-mail sayingnI was welcome to stop by anytimenduring the hours the office was open, nno appointment was needed.nnWhen I arrived, I was met with bothna smile and friendly handshakenfrom their Property Manager, Charlotte.nnCharlotte and I sat down at a tablenand she proceeded to tell me aboutnthe property down to details.nShe was so prepared and professional, nthat there were very few questionsnfor me to ask.nShe explained everything well, nproviding me with a map of the buildingsnand grounds, showing me which apartments were currently available, their location, nas well as their monthly rent.nnThe grounds were well kept despitenthe rainy weather, and the buildingsnand hallways of two of the buildingsnI viewed were exceptionally clean and neat.nnThe two one-bedroom apartmentsnwere a pleasant surprise.nBoth the first and third floor apartmentsnwere bright and full of light from the nicensized windows. They were freshly painted, with new or newer carpeting, lots of closetsnand kitchen cupboard space and both the bathroom and kitchen were spotless.nThe kitchen had newer appliances.nLights, switches, ceiling fans all worked.nnThis had been the fourth apartmentnviewing for me in the past two weeks, nand I was certainly impressed to saynthe least.nnNone had been so courteousnor spent as much time with me.nnCharlotte spent more than enough timenwith me answering any questions.nShe was very knowledgeable and providednlots of information for me to consider.nnFor me, this was a highly positive experience!nWhen I am ready to relocate,nMidpark Village will most certainlynbe first on my list.

Honestly this place is fantastic for the price. No dishwasher when I was there (can't imagine that's changed but hey it's been 2 years) but the 1 bedroom apartment I had was pretty great for what I paid. A lot of space, very basic but again for the price and city/area you can't beat it. The office staff was AMAZING and I loved the maintenance, too. Always quick to the call and did the job. I lived there for 5 years and not once did they have to fix the same thing twice! Parking was tight but the garages were not expensive either if you wanted a guaranteed spot.
