I was actually there to assist my father in updating or restoring databases. I work occasionally for Access Computers and we have been there prior to COVID-19, working on their server updating, creating a backup etc. They use proprietary software to save their data and they also work those techs as well as Access Computers.nnI was allowed to once see the museum and actually it should say library too as many people go there to research their records. It's spacious, quite easy to view most of the displays. Some of the areas where the research books and collections are no easy for people who may use a wheelchair or a walker without some assistance.nnThey do have handicapped parking available and an elevator for both staff and guests. There is a large hall perfect for events and I think, if I remember correctly, a stage as well... As I remember in 2019 there was either a play or perhaps it was a reading of some sort either way it was all very pleasant. Very clean, spacious (in most areas), and occasionally there is that scent of age often found with historical or vintage items - especially books.nnSomeday, I would like to go there and enjoy a visit that's not because I'm there to update software or technology, but to see the vintage and historical content available to view and review.nnAlso the staff are very knowledgeable about the items in their possession err that are donated to the museum.

Great place for local history facts. Everyone that works there was supper informative. If you've ever lived in or around Warren County it's worth a visit.

I visited this museum today and was greeted by some very nice people. The museum had all sorts of different artifacts, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. My personal favorite was a little hallway with antiques from the Underground Railroad time period. You walk into a dark hallway with what looked like lightning bugs on the ceiling and hear crickets, as you begin to walk down the hallway a light clicks on and then you can read more about what you’re looking at. The museum is large which makes the $10 entry fee worth it. There were a lot of great things to see but the, “True-some Gruesome” facts they have posted throughout are what stands out so well. If you’re not too into reading at least read those. I definitely recommend checking this place out.
