Springdale Road Historical Cemetery is located at 2600 Springdale Road, Colerain Township, Hamilton County, Cincinnati, Ohio. Due to various ownerships of the Cemetery and boundary changes, this Cemetery has also been known as Springfield Township Cemetery, West Branch Millcreek Valley Baptist Churchyard Cemetery, Mill Creek Valley Baptist Cemetery and Springdale Road Baptist Cemetery. Today, 2018, this Cemetery was submitted to Google Maps as Colerain Township Historical Springdale Road Cemetery.nnThere are over 100 headstones found in this historic Cemetery. Records indicate over 135 burials of which 74 headstones have been photographed. The oldest burial known was in 1829 and the most recent burial was in 2005. There are only two records that indicate burials post 1900. All other known records show that the majority burials are from the 1840s through the 1880s. This researcher has not found any military burials to-date.nnThe Springdale Road Historical Cemetery is maintained by Colerain Township. The grounds are mowed on a regular basis. The stones are old and need repair.nnThere is not a parking lot or driveway accessing the Cemetery. The Cemetery stands upon a hill and one must climb the hill from the east side of the Cemetery to approach the area. Because it is located on Springdale Road, it is a high traffic area.
