The 2013-2014 school year was the first time my four students attended Fairmoor Elementary School, and needless to say I was greatly disappointed with the overall performance. I am a firm believer that the climate of the environment starts with the leadership and the school lacks experienced leadership. It is unacceptable to overlook issues like bullying and teachers yelling at and yanking on students. As a parent I was appalled to see a teacher yank a student by the arm during the spring program, so much to the point that I contacted consumer relations. My students will not be attending Fairmoor nor any other Columbus City school during the 2014-2015 school year and moving forward. Parents please be proactive and show up at your child’s school unannounced it may surprise you as to how they are being handled when you are not around.

I really do miss Fairmoor, i’ve been since Kindergarten 2007-2008, and right I am a sophomore in HS. But I really did love the way my teachers taught me.

I miss this school my favorite people ther was mr.wallace,ms.brown,and mrs.parker man i with that was a k through 12 school now im about to be going to highschool ill go see them before i graduate

I love Fairmoor, Both my kids attend the school and I just love the staff...great school

I love that school till 3rd grade man so many fights my best teacher was mr.German and mrs .Hensley and Mrs. parker
