I am a mother of 2 children that currently attend weiland park elementary. Currently my daughter rayina has a FABULOUS teacher. Ms. Lester. She's always communicating to me issues with rayina, talks to me and rayina with respect and works in a way that suits our family. Now my other daughter layla had ms. Campbell for kindergarten, absolutely amazing teacher. No issues. We get to 1st grade and all of a sudden were treated with disrespect and constant problems. My daughter has been told not to come back to school without a homework folder that I myself probably lost. ( went in today to offer to replace it). And ms.brown was adamant that no other folder could replace the one I lost. I feel my daughter has been singled out since day one, and that her teacher should rethink her career because any 7 year old will loose their belongings, break them, or whatever. So ill be deciding to send my children elsewhere, where i feel they will be far more successful which i hate to do because there are some great teachers in weiland park. But whenever there are in fact issues, don't expect a good civil discussion.

What I love about Weinland Park is the teachers make sure students are successful. The principal says she is going to do things for us and she makes it happen one way or another. I am a leader in my school. You should come to our school!

Ever since Dr. Gantz left this school has went downhill....and this is as nice as I can put it.
