Staff was very friendly and helpful at the 2nd st location. The food was great and the fish tasted like it was fried in fresh oil ad it should be. The other location that I use to frequent near my residence on Parrish Avenue, I now avoid. Because for some reason, I always have to pay full price for food that seem to tastes like old or burnt cooking oil. It almost ruined me from buying LJS that I truly love.
The floors were covered in grease. I slid all the way to the counter y'all! The staff was super busy and it took a hot minute to be waited on. I was cool with that. They weren't mean and they weren't friendly. It was like they were just trying to make it till the end of their shift. Totally understandable under the conditions. It was hot as hell in there and the masks make it worse. The food was freshly made and hot. We dig the chicken and fish.
It was the best experience i've had in a long long time from CSRs anywhere. It was great from beginning to end. The food was delicious and the grilled shrimp was fantastic. I relayed my experience via survey and messaging the company. Go experience it for yourself!
Fish was over cooked. We ordrered fish & fries with 2 additional pieces of fish. Only got one extra. They only charged for one. When order was ready she opened the window handed the bag out & slammed the window. No napkins, never asked if we needed condiments or anything. Very disappointed in service & food.
My husband loves the food. Drive thru staff is very friendly.
