Lacy is very knowledge in her line of work, and I am so happy that I can call myself one of her clients. She is in the know on all of the latest and greatest treatments-which I love!nShe takes her time, listens to what results I am hoping to achieve, and she knows exactly what to do in order to meet those expectations.nShe is a gem! I cannot say enough good things about Lacey. I stumbled across her when I was looking for makeup for a Halloween costume last fall. She did not disappoint! During my first visit, she shared her passion, knowledge, and the hottest trends in skincare. I was sold and quickly scheduled another appointment for a dermaplane facial. I was hooked and have consistently seen Lacey at least once a month for skincare, waxing, and makeup applications. My skin has improved dramatically because of her treatments in care. She always goes above and beyond! Not only do I receive treatment when I’m in her salon, but she continues to follow up and provide recommendations after. She is amazing at what she does, but also extremely sweet and makes you feel comfortable through entire treatments. She does an excellent job of explaining what she is doing and why. Her prices are the best I’ve seen in the city. I would recommend 614 Beauty Bar and Lacy to anyone!

I saw Lacy for a dermaplane and eyebrow wax that I purchased on Groupon. I get my eyebrows shaped up every couple of months and hadn’t even heard of dermaplane but since I was struggling to find an appointment time with the professional who I typically visit, I thought I’d give it a shot. The whole process was interesting and really great. I thought that lacy was the most attentive person to ever shape up my eyebrows. She took her time to make sure that everything was perfect. Additionally, she was really fantastic to get to know.nnCommunication was excellent. I knew exactly what I was getting and she was really close to being exactly on time, which I appreciated. I liked that she scheduled appointments in a way in which I definitely didn’t feel like she was rushing to get her next appointment started.nnIn this tough time, I’m very happy that I took a chance on Lacy. It was obvious to me that she took great pride in her work. I am looking forward to my next appointment and highly recommend her.

I really struggled with whether I was going to leave this or not, but I personally rely heavily on reviews and felt it would be more responsible to note my experience here. I got the bb glow service she offers. Other than asking what my skin tone was prior to the appt, she didn’t really ask any questions about my skin type or problems that I have with it. Most places where I’ve gotten a facial ask at least a few questions. Her answers to my questions about the outcome and what to expect seemed vague and uncertain. I guess she really just didn’t seem that knowledgeable about the procedure, which made me nervous. My skin kind of freaked out after the service and look way worse. After 3 days that has all kind of calmed down, but my skin doesn’t look improved in any way at all. If anything it looks worse. My guess she ordered the tools off a website and that came with some web based “training” and that “certified” her to offer the service. That’s not a level of training I’m comfortable with and I wish I had researched better. The other review here mentioned her follow up care. It’s worth mentioning that not only did she not provide follow up care, but when I texted to cancel my next booking, she didn’t even reply. She just canceled it on her site which sent a automatic cancellation message. If I were running a business and I new clients wanted to cancel, I would have at least touched base to make sure everything with their first service was ok.nnHer pricing policies are also questionable. She quoted me $300 for 3 bb glow sessions. Luckily you only pay for each one at a time, but she charged me $134 before a tip. I asked why it was $34 more. She said because if Columbus taxes and the charges on the Square app she uses to process payment. I’m sorry but 34% in taxes? If I had gotten the other 2 treatments, it would have been $402 vs the quoted price of $300.nnI don’t leave negative reviews lightly. However, when getting services done to your face, you should be well informed.nna
