The Reserve at the Falls

We absolutely loved living here for our 2 years in Athens and would definitely recommend it! We are a couple with one of us attending graduate school and the other worked from home. This community is quiet and mostly houses older/graduate students or small families. The best thing about this place is the management- KC and Maj are hands down the most amazing management team that either of us have ever had at any of the apartments we’ve lived at. They are really there for you and will go to bat for you 100% of the time. They were responsive, reasonable, understanding, friendly, and excellent advocates for their residents. We also appreciated that they took the pandemic seriously and took appropriate actions to protect the residents. The maintenance team was also great- Tyler and Alex were always very quick to respond and did a great job taking care of things. The location of this complex is really nice as it is close to campus but removed from the busyness of uptown. There are lots of areas to walk or run right near the complex including the hocking river trail, a wetlands preserve, and a bike path is in the process of being built. We can’t speak highly enough of this complex!

Very accommodating and responsive management, even within a few minutes of sending a maintenance request email or voicemail! Great amenities (fitness room, pool, etc.) right on sight and safe community removed enough from the undergraduate-populated areas of Athens, Ohio but close enough to campus that requires only a 5-min drive or 10-min bike path). Loved wooded flooring in common area as well. Only occasion disturbance from neighbors with domestic pets, but that was expected in a pet-friendly building. Otherwise, no complaints.

I lived at the falls for a year before I moved into my own house. The place is always clean and very well taken care of. It was very peaceful and quiet. Maj and KC are extremely helpful and friendly, and they set a very comfortable and friendly environment. I had a great experience living there.

I lived at the falls for 2 years and I think that as a medical student it was the ideal place for me to live. The units are beautiful, very spacious and clean, and well-maintained. They are perfectly located just far enough from campus to qualify for a parking pass and to be quiet and peaceful, but close enough that campus and everything in town is easily accessible. It was perfect for late night studying since I never had issues with noisy neighbors, like at some other apartment complexes in town. Close proximity to the bike path and Little Fish are big pluses. K.C. and Majed are so friendly, seem to make a point to know everyone by name, and are always helpful with anything you might need. They really go above and beyond. Great little pool and gym, easily accessible garbage and recycling at multiple sites on the property. Always felt safe. Really everything you need! Look no further - you won't find better!

The Reserve at the Falls is an incredible place to live in Athens, especially if you are a young professional, graduate student, or medical student! I lived here for two years and it was, by far, the best housing experience I had in town. The units are beautiful and clean, the facilities are immaculately maintained, and the staff are so attentive, friendly, and quick to answer any questions or concerns you have. It is such a quiet community, so quiet that I wrote most of my dissertation there. It's only two miles away from Ohio University's campus, but far enough away from student housing to avoid late night noise. Plus, the parking lots are well-lit at night, so I always felt safe walking back to my apartment at night. As a side note, they are also so reasonable when it comes to giving back part of your deposit. If I ever found myself back in Athens, I'd want to live here again.
