Stafford Hill Cabins

We stayed there, in March 2019. It was very pleasant. David offered us fresh farm eggs, and the cabin was wonderful. Peaceful and cozy. Being in the hot tub while the snow was falling was quite an experience. I didn't get around to reviewing on VRBO but thought I could at least try here. Highly recommend this stay. We highly recommend this getaway destination. The staffords have created a piece of heaven!!! The cabin is absolutely gorgeous. The peace and quiet was exactly what we needed. My husband and I are planning an anniversary weekend in the fall. The cabin is a great escape for any season. The service was beyond excellent.

We truly enjoyed every aspect of our stay! The cabin set atop a hill with beautiful views from every side. A leisurely Saturday morning on the covered front porch in total peace started our day-the only interruption being deer and song birds. The close proximity to Lake Hope and the hiking trails kept us busy. And unwinding with a glass of wine under the star-filled sky in our own private hot-tub crowned the day! The cabin had everything we needed for relaxing comfort.nInside was a kitchen with everything we needed for meal prep, an absolutely amazing loft sleep area with a king-sized bed, a large flat-screen with an assortment of DVDs, some reading material, board games and plenty of space to be comfortable. Front and back porches were both furnished with seating to enjoy the great views and lovely landscaping. Our timing was perfect, as all the hostas were flowering!!nThis cabin is a must if you want to leave the beaten path, but be close enough to readily enjoy Athens and the surrounding area!!

We booked this quaint cabin during the winter, and we were not disappointed! We were greeted with a fresh, warm loaf of homemade bread! Everything was perfect, down to being able to fully enjoy the warm hot tub on a cold, cold night while gazing at the stars! Even when we had difficulty playing a movie (because we are technically challenged) on the DVR, the owner came right over to assist us! We enjoyed the ambiance of the fireplace. We highly recommend Stafford Hill Cabins!!
