Thornwood Car Wash

Had a great visit. Cleaned up the inside and outside of the family minivan nicely. Short wait on a weekday morning. Prices are reasonable for what you get.

They do a good job here, bang for the buck. They could dry off the cars a little better.

I was disappointed with the job they did. I paid $25 for interior and exterior wash. They cleaned way too quickly and missed spots inside. I will not be returning.

Fine, line is orderly, staff is nice and facilities are fine but every now and then one of the self serves has 1 or 2 things malfunctioning, the vaccum head gets cracked, the foam polish isn't dispensing, the brush is unscrewed etc etc. They seem to fix it often but not great that things are broken that often.

It's one of a very few self service car washes in the entire County. Ironically it is next to a full service carwash. By self service standards it's pretty good. Unlike many others you can use your credit card so no worries about running out of coins. They also give you multiple tools to use to clean your car. If you're particular about how you wash your car you've got choices. Don't want to put their brushes on your paint? No problem as the power rinse or wash is strong enough to wash away light dirt. They've even got a blower to use if you don't have a rag to wipe it off. They have a vending machine that has paper towels but sometimes it's out of stock. The biggest knock against this place is it only has two stalls. If you go during the weekend or on a nice day you will be waiting. There is a vaccum right before the stalls so your time waiting won't be totally unproductive but I'd recommend off peak hours and patience. ud83dude01 There's also a gas station right next door with a convenience store.
