Good company. Great for advancing further into the non emergency medical fields.

It says on the website that they love their customers. I'm in one of their vans right now as an escort for my family member who is being transported in his wheelchair. I'M NOT FEELING THE LOVE! Added next day: The driver arrived before I had my family member dressed and packed up to leave the hospital and be transported to rehab. The hospital gave me little notice of arrangements being made. Then I was waiting for them to get wound dressings done. So driver was delayed 20 minutes. I guess Sandia drivers are under a lot of pressure to stick to a schedule. This guy had anger issues. The stony silence was awful. After we got in the van, he left the vehicle for 10 minutes. Windows were all up and heat in vehicle was oppressive. He sulked the entire ride, speeding at times. I felt like he was trying to scare us. At the rehab center, he put my family member partially into the entrance between automatic doors. Then he walked back to vehicle. Doors closed on my family members feet (who had recent toe surgery.) My arms were full of stuff we'd packed, so I couldn't pull the wheelchair back in time. I called for him to help. He expressed no concern whatsoever . . . just persisting in his miserable "silent treatment." The guy gave new meaning to the phrase, "passive-aggressive." I'm glad I didn't leave my very frail and very sick family member to travel alone with this nut. Standards of civility are pretty high in New Mexico. This experience was uncommonly chilling. I called Sandia the next morning. The person on the phone excused herself to call someone in her office "an idiot," then told me she was dealing with an irate customer. Yeah, they sure "love" their customers.

This transportation has a rough crew of drivers. A great deal of verbal sexual talk and worse. Drivers text and drive then slam the breaks.

Very professional and happy people. Good experiences. Always let me know when to expect them, which is real important. They are excellent as a medical transportation company and very considerate of their clients.

At 4pm on Saturday 10/26/19 the driver of Wheelchair van #507 was tailgating me severely going east on Indian School Rd between Carlisle and San Mateo. He apparently had someone in the back possibly as a passenger. The driver kept running up on me, then backing off, then doing it again. I flashed my brake lights, but he kept doing it and laughing. When he was able to get around me he stuck his arm out the window and flipped me off. I caught up to him and got the van # and company name off the side of the van making me have to drive 60 in a 40 mph zone to keep up with him. He then turned left onto San Mateo and stuck his head and arm out the window to flip me off again and almost hit the median. This needs to be reported to the New Mexico Department of Transportation.
