We always enjoy touring the museum when we are in town visiting our daughter and son-in-law. We learn so much about that area and we always find some lovely items to purchase for gift giving. We look forward to you being able to reopen. Ben and Linda Statham Alpharetta, GA

Small, local museum. They have a mixture of historical content as well as displaying the local communities art and projects. When I visited the one room was dedicated to artwork from local children and teens while another room had information on how chicken farms effected Ballston Spa. They have frequent activities set up to draw in crowds for example how wool gets from sheep to your clothes, various lectures on town historical events, etc. This museum also houses the town genealogical historical documents and is a great place to trace back family trees and town history.

Brookside museum is a great place to visit, they are always changing there displays to add something new and educational. They had a wonderful craft fair today with lots a talented crafters and artisans. Michelle, Beth, and Anne are always a pleasure to talk to, and they all work very hard to make the museum a great addition to Ballston spa.

With so much history, this facility could be so much more. Contact information and web site needs updating. Hours are not listed. It's almost as if they want to fall into foreclosure.
