Really delicious food and fast friendly service. They offer Burgers and Fries and a specialty of Grippos seasoning Incorporated in several of their menu items which is really good. They also had a few other fried options like pickles. Yum! Maybe it is unfair of me to not give 5 Stars based on this, but I feel like sharing political views when you are a business owner does come with its own risk. I am not from this town of Manchester and was only visiting, that's a consideration. But the huge Trump banner in the bar side of this establishment made me less likely to return.
Prices are too high. 5 oz burger, fries and 7-up cost $9.70 or so. Fries came about 3-5 minutes before hamburger. Burger warm+ but not hot like the fries were. Wall menu not clear and no receipt showing what you paid for. Not much better than Wendy's for about 3-4 dollars more. A tip for the owners: remove the picture of someone else's menu. On a phone, it looks like yours's. I was expecting something else entirely. Disappointed but too tired to go somewhere else.
I have been here twice to try different things off the menu. So far I highly recommend their cheeseburgers and love the onion rings but their sandwiches alone will fill you up. Definitely a local eatery to try out and enjoy when you're in the lovely town of Manchester.
Good food, great workers. Live music when there isn't a Pandemic. The owner is there making sure everyone is happy.
Pat's is a staple eatery in this town -- a true icon of southeastern Appalachian opening in the post-war era here in the south, and has now fed multiple generations since the best cheeseburger you'll find this side of the Mason-Dixon.
