Was able to find me an apartment when I came to Syracuse for my program. Decent building within my pricepoint (ours had parking- not all do). Minor maintenance issues came up in course of 18 mos or so (lights, a sink backup)- all were handled within a day or so. No complaints. Received my security deposit within a few weeks of moving out - no questionable deductions or other stuff- as managers these guys were fine- a totally businesslike interaction.

I would give them 0 stars if I could. I lived in one of their apartments for a year, when they were originally TMJG. They switched over to Stratford 2 months into my lease with no notice. This also happened when we had 250+ hornets in our storage space. They brought a friend of the owner to kill them with Raid and a dustpan while me and my roommate were locked in our rooms. They didn't bring an exterminator. For the hornets to appear in Sept/Oct, that means that the eggs/nest were there in June. I moved in August. They said they would clean the apartment before we moved in, and they clearly didn't. The wood floors were not sealed, so we had every other bug known come through the cracks. Also, I did not get my security deposit back. They locked me out of the online account after I moved out. They don't respond. Do not rent from them.

I'm leaving a review since it seems to be the only way to get a response. Dan does not answer his phone or email and ignores maintenance requests. He is impossible to get in touch with. My dishwasher has been broken since I moved in (so have my window latches, shower door, and a couple doorknobs), and Stratford Realty refuses to fix it or even acknowledge the problem, which is illegal. I have tried literally every method of contact I can think of. All I want is for the appliances in my apartment to be in working order. Save yourself the headache and rent from literally anyone else.nnUpdate April 2021: Building is finally moving to new management. Dishwasher has not been replaced despite several assurances that it “has been ordered and is on the way”. The stairs to the back porch are now collapsed, my oven is broken, and none of the other issues have been addressed.

Experience was seamless, any issues were promptly tended to, great office staff and got my security deposit back.

I lived in a building managed by them with my fiancée for about two years. It was one of the better experiences we’ve had while renting homes, every now and then there were maintenance problems but they were quick to respond to us and also returned our security deposit earlier than required
