Gateway Laundromat & Dry Cleaners

Let's start by saying I liked that they had a machine that took up to 80lbs., one that took up to 50lbs, and several that took 40lbs. They also had a change machine. Why I didn't give it more stars, though, was that it had no air conditioning and boy, did we need it that day! It also had no vending machines and very limited seats.

Clean facilities except for the fact that there was no soap in the bathroom, but the dryers are awful. I put 21 minutes worth of quarters in one dryer and then it went dead 30 seconds into the drying cycle... so I moved it into the dryer to the right of that one and put 21 minutes worth of quarters into that dryer. The timer gave me 7 minutes. Normally, I'd just go to the laundromat on Lakeshore Drive but it was unfortunately closed today due to renovations. I will not be coming back here in the future if I can help it.nnThank you to this laundromat for stealing my money and forcing me to hang dry all of my clothes in this very chilly weather. Hopefully they will be dry for work tomorrow.

I love this place...it's not huge, just right, not usually busy so you don't have to fight for washers, it has chairs and benches for sitting, and the burger place in the same strip is perfect for a quick bite while you are waiting on your stuff.nClean, well maintained equipment, and a bathroom.nIt would be nice to have a table there but you can't have everything.

Okay. Washers and dryers mostly in good working order. Safe location. Some attempt made at cleaning. Large oversized washers also available for $4 or $5 dollars each.

My machine didn’t work right for 4 dollars! Didn’t spin out my clothes!!! Then I went to the dryer and it should have been out of order! Some of the dryers are cut inside!! No number to call for refund!!! Last time here!!!!
