This is a great school. I have attended several functions. The teacher involvement with students and parents is GREAT. The entire school gets involved. I am very impressed with decorations and displays of student work. You can tell that team work is clearly in play. I am ALWAYS greeted,welcomed and asked to return. MLK gets my top star approval.

The absolute worse school my son has ever attended. It's like boot camp, like prison or something like this. I went for lunch, and all the teachers and principal did was get on the kids. You can't talk in the lunch room, whisper in the hall in line, use your outdoor voice outside. Bunch of garbage. If I could give this place a negative I would. I went home and cried to my wife about moving him here to this school system. Go on a regular day and it'll break your heart. I feel bad for the kids as they seem to be scared. The one teacher flips desks over. Yet to be addressed. Starts from the principal down. Hold yourselves accountable! You are the adults, not dictators... act like it, be it! You'll be hearing from me in meetings and reviews.
