Creole Soul Cafe

We ordered online and it sounded good. The order said it would be ready in 45-60 minutes and would email or text when ready. We received no text or email and arrived at the 45 minute mark. They didn't know what our order was, then said oh yeah, here it is. It had been ready for awhile and was not hot. The total was $6 more than what online said, they said oh, prices are different. I ordered the Hobo Platter (which was $35, not $29) and when I got it home it didn't even have the same items in it. No Jambalaya, no dirty rice and everything was fried. We threw half of it out since no where did it say fried food on their website ordering. Even the Creole fries had an additional breaded coating that was deep fried too. My husband and I actually felt sick the next day. I would not recommend this restaurant.

Food was great! Reminded me of growing up in Louisiana. Would love to see some boudin on the menu though. Can't wait to go back.nPlace is just small. Ya cant really only eat there when the weather is nice so you can sit outside. Else ya have to eat in your car.

FOOD WAS HORRIBLE. I WAS GIVEN 2 OXTAILS WITH NOTHING BUT FAT AND BONE WHEN I ORDERED SMOTHERED OXTAILS AND GRAVY.POTATO SALAD TASTE STORE BROUGHT INSTEAD OF HOMEMADE.COLLARD GREENS CAME STRAIGHT FROM THE CAN WITH NO SEASONING AND FLAVOR . FRIED OKRA WAS TOO COLD ANS TOO SALTY TOO EAT. HOMEMADE ICE TEA WAS FLAVORLESS AND TO TOP IT OFF THE FOOD WAS ICE COLD WHEN I RECEIVED IT AND THE RESTAURANT REFUSED TO REFUND MY 31$

Just got my food I paid $15 and it looks , tastes smells horrible. They gave me 2 oxtails barely any mac &cheese and watery greens. The only thing good is the yams . I dont play about my food , i will never spend my money there again .

This place may be small in size, but the food is HUGE in flavor. I've had almost everything on the menu and it is all amazing!! The staff are sweet and you can wait in your car with a disk that sounds when your food is ready. I waited less than 10 minutes. Please try it, you won't be sorry. P.S. Their desserts are amazing!
