Greenvale

This is a very convenient train station servicing the towns of Greenvale, Roslyn Harbor, and northern East Hills. Trains terminate in Long Island City and Hunterspoint Avenue during the AM rush (one goes directly to Penn as well). At all other times, you must change at Jamaica for all points west. Be mindful that trains run every 1-2 hours during off peak hours and weekends. So always plan accordingly whenever traversing the Oyster Bay branch. FYI: there is also no waiting room at this small station during the winter months.

It's a nice quiet station, but has infrequent service. If you are looking to ride a train here be sure to check the timetables for the Oyster Bay Branch because if you miss a train, that wait can be more than an hour.

Greenvale is standard LIRR train station on the Oysterbay line offering service to northern Long Island.
