It was nice seeing farm life. Yes it is free. You're also free to roam and look on your own no vigilant workers insight. Live animals and nice photos for instagram and families. There even a plant shop inside. Public bathroom as well. This museum is for all ages. If you want fresh air and scenery not like the city definitely come.
I went here to take pics at there popup flower installation which was lovely! Though it was cold, the flower installations made it worth while! Definitely recommend visiting, they also have a food vendor who sells some delicious treats, hot coco & tea. I even got a glimpse of some farm animals(also exciting). The stop on the bus gets you close enough to only have to walk a block. Definitely looking forward to going back to experience the whole farm!
Love this place. Have been coming since my daughter was a baby. So lovely. It can b very crowded on event days and weekends, so I prefer weekdays when it is calm.
Feel like this is a hidden gem in Queens and a relic of the past. We come here to drop off compost every other week but we always take a detour and explore the farm. It’s beautiful, serene, and definitely something you wouldn’t expect to see in the middle of a Queens neighborhood. They also hold events every so often which are usually great including hayrides, a corn maze event, a petting zoo, among others.
An absolutely fun place to spend the day, they followed guidelines due to Covid-19, so we all wore masks and took them off only for pictures and put the masks back on. The land is beautiful, the farm animals are adorable and the flower showcase was fantastic. My wife and I enjoyed it all, took tons of pictures and enjoyed the day relaxing. They had a little hub for food and drinks, reasonable prices and very warm and comforting customer service. Highly recommend ud83dudc9c definitely memorable.
