The museum itself is in two parts. There's a small graffiti looking building that you pass on the left when you drive in to the premises, this one has the famous Dali and Picasso paintings. if you keep driving further along museum road you'll come to the large main parking lot. Then it is a short walk along a sculpture garden to the main museum building. The main museum building has two floors with several rooms with rotating galleries. but the most impressive thing about this museum is actually the sculptures that are placed along multiple trails throughout the preserve.
This is a beautiful park and it deserves a 5 star, however this isn’t a very convenient park due to inaccessible to a public bathroom. Not even a single restroom at a huge park like this? I have a year old baby and an old dad with a prostate issue that needs to use the bathroom frequently. It was a huge disappointment and kind of upsetting when we were trying to use the “only restroom” there is at the park, which is inside the museum. We bought tickets for the museum early in the morning but ended up discarding the ticket after the museum visit since we didn’t think we would stay that long at the park. But since the weather was beautiful and we were so impressed by the park view, we ended up staying a bit longer..nThis old lady at the ticket booth had such an attitude and was so nasty that she didn’t even let us use the restroom since we didn’t have the tickets. She was giving us such a dirty look that I didn’t even want to mention about us being a ticketed customer a couple of hours before.. with that attitude she wasn’t going to believe us.. she really needs to be educated on good customer service manner. We’re not returning to this park.
Harry up before the winter
Nice place to visit and walk around.
It’s a very nice place to visit. I enjoyed art works exhibited in the museum and a walking in the sculptures garden. The building of museum looks beautiful and charming even though in a cloud winter day. Will definitely visit again.
