Entered the restaurant and was told to seat ourselves. When we asked about the specials on the blackboard we were told that those were yesterday’s and no one bothered to change it. We ordered the fish sandwich, fries, and diet sodas. Our fries were limp and almost a sponge consistency. My sandwich was served with wilted lettuce, squishy warm tomato, and I swear the bun was stale and began to crumble with every touch. I don’t know what the coating on the fish was supposed to be but it slid off and had an uncooked look to it. Our waitress was mediocre and we tipped the min 15% of our bill ( bad food and service do not constitute under tipping).
Service was excellent ud83dudc4d. Had loaded potato skins and the corned beef and cabbage , generous portions and delicious. Definitely going again.

This is one of the best ice cream shops I've ever been to. However, since the place was taken over by new owners a few years back, they don't seem to be making the ice cream from scratch now. They do have great sandwiches and food as well as desserts and shakes. They've also expanded into the shop next door so there's always plenty of seating now. The old timey decor has been changed also. That's sad.
Great food .great people .would eat there everyday I give this place 10 stars
