This is a small but historic museum. It's absolutely amazing how much work & detail went into building the statue & the reconstruction in the 80s. I loved the background Music & also if u read everything it'll take u 3 hours 2 do the whole thing. Outside u have a excellent view of Manhattan & the skyscrapers including The Freedom Tower & Empire State Building. The big gift shop has so many interesting things that u can buy.
Great museum they built on the island. New and is free to enter. Has a lot of stuff inside showing the history of the monument as well as the history of the island. The roof is accessible, provides amazing 360 degree view of the area. You can see the cargo docks to the west , and the city to the east. Plus you can see the back of lady liberty as she stands over the NYC harbor of the Hudson river. Worth stopping in on your trip!
Very beutiful place. Also very interesting museum. Very good place to be with family. Transportation to island is also safe. Recomended
One of the five boroughs of New York City, Manhattan is actually an island, bordered by the East River and the Hudson (and a little bit by the Harlem River). This island is a bit less than 23 square miles and is home to almost two million residents. Add in the daily influx of workers, and the island routinely holds close to four million people.nnNo other city in the world offers the frenetic energy of New York City. It's filled with the world's best shopping and dining, along with incredible museums.nnManhattan also has a giant green heart, Central Park. No matter the season, it provides a playground for the city's residents, offering a range of activities from museums to a zoo. There's also a lot of green space where you can play and relax, along with miles of running, biking, and skating trails.
I told them to make it alright I no I am just a kid so I am a the one whe can rename it just pleas enjoy it
