Boards & Beams LLC

I visited B&B LLC a week ago. Even though they were quite busy, I was waited on by Steve within minutes of arriving. I explained what I needed for a diy project. He knew just the product to show me. It was perfect and very reasonably priced. Steve even loaded it in the car. The quality, variety, and quantity of wood products available is amazing! Add to that great customer service from an employee who is very familiar with everything they carry. Skip the big box stores and shop here instead. You won't be disappointed!

My first experience at B&B was good. I’m a novice and picked up woodworking as a hobby. So it was time to step it up and work with some hardwood. My goal was a cutting board so I chose walnut and hard maple. The selection of hardwood was a bit overwhelming but thats a good thing. This nice gentleman assisted me throughout and took the time and looked for good boards for me that had very little bow in them and loaded them in my car. He was extremely helpful. It was really cold that day so they let me in the office to pay and offered me a free t-shirt. I really wish they didn’t have a trump sign up. But it is what it is. They provided great service. My husband will just have to wait in the car if i have to pick up more than I can carry.

I had an outstanding experience at Boards and Beams. My husband and I recently moved to the area, and I was looking to replace the mantle in our home as well as buy some beams to make a console table. Keith was extremely helpful from start to finish, providing advice and calling throughout to update me on progress. I gave them the measurements, and the completed mantle fits perfectly and looks amazing. Additionally, I bought three solid beams. They cut dovetail joints in two of them for me, and I was able to take them home, “distress” them, and make a replica of a Restoration Hardware console table for our home for a fraction of the price and get the satisfaction of making it myself. And EVERYONE was wearing a mask at all times every time I was there. Wonderful experience - highly recommend!

That one star is just because I can’t give them 0.nAs much as I want to support local businesses but someone should teach these guys about customer service. Second time been here and NEVER AGAIN as I was left to wonder and look for the product by myself. When I asked the floor guy he got back at me with : “ YOU GOTTA GIVE ME SOME TIME BRO”. Seriously???nNEVER COMING BACK TO THIS PLACE AGAIN.

This place is the way every lumber yard should be, the people that work there want to actually work and help you. Their selection is outstanding, the only place within 45 mins that carries what I was looking for (baltic birch plywood)
