Verona Police Department

What can say about the VPD but excellent excellent true professional service. On my drive home i had some car trouble. They blocked off the road Office Steve Young and another officer pushed my car to the side of the road. I truly apologized i didn't get his name but he was really cool. He and i also spoke when he was about to go on patrol. We talked about our snow commute from the day before.nnOffice Young said we can wait in the lobby of the station until the tow truck get to us. I finally learned that what that building pushing back next to the police station it's the Middle School. He said the school, police station and municipal building all have the same address 600 Bloomfield Ave. Verona PD was extremely helpful and patient with us even giving us numbers to the tow companies they use.nnOffice Young and I had a little sport talk. I will say he is a true professional helping even after knowing I'm a Red Sox fan while he's a Yankees fan. He even gave us a slice of crumb cake saying i figured you all are hungry. Oh yeah he even informed us that we were being recorded via their body cam. No problem no profanity was being used :-) Thank You again Office Steve Young for your professionalism and helpfulness.

I am from New York .my left tyre was completely gone and needed to be changed. It was 11.30 at night .had no prior experience in changing tyres .but had to try to put on the spare. Then is young police officer just stopped by and helped me put it on .I was really surprised by the generosity. He didnt had to do it but came forward to help me. VERONA PD I thank you from the bottom of my heart .

Great department. Very professional.
