North Conway Station

Took the first Santa Holiday Train. While the safety protocols for covid were in place our ride was less than pleasant. I have a deep appreciation for service animals, However there were no notifications about allowing family pets on the train. There was a dog (non service animal) that sat behind Us and barked the entire ride. I personally feel if this was posted while purchasing tickets, I would have selected another seating option. When I mentioned this to the staff, the woman behind The counter said it’s within their policy but agreed that they shouldn’t be allowed. This should be posted for others to know.

Took Santa’s Holiday Express and majority of the staff was rude, we couldn’t hear the speaker in coach and the train wreaked of polyurethane so we had to keep the window open most of the ride even though the temps were barely in the 30s. There wasn’t much to see on the ride then stopped for much too long to to then see it all reverse. Couldn’t wait to get off of this train. Big waste of money! You can get a good view of the same Santa, Mrs. Claus and the reindeer from the road when the train goes by without having to spend a penny.

More appropriate title of this ride would have been “historic train ride through neighborhood”nnBarely scenic. Most of this ride was just through some houses. Not much mountain to be seen- even from the top dome of the train.nn$50 should of really been $10...nnIt’s really a 30 min ride to Attitash, 30 mins sitting at the Attitash rail station, 30 mins back to North Conway ...nnBest part of this ride was the beverages and popcorn my boyfriend had made beforehand and brought on the ride with us.nnSave yourself the money and being stuck in a train and just rent a car and go for a drive through the mountains. Far more scenic and you can cross some state lines too!

I'm currently on the Bartlett train waiting for it to turn around and go back to the station. We spent 60 dollars to look at the scenic views of forests and houses from ground level for 45 minutes in one direction and now we get to see the same forests and houses in reverse. Can't wait.

Windows very dirty . Top dome gives best views but i couldnt imagine the lower deck views because the.windows were so foggy on the dome couldnt see anything
