Conway Lakeside Cottages

My sister and I have been coming here with our dogs Blaze and Bandit for a fall getaway weekend for about the last 6 years and wenlove it here!! Can't say enough about the great hosts Cathy and Brad and the cottages are awesome and quite cozy! Lots of trails nearby to walk the dogs too!! We can't wait to come back!!

Conway Lakeside Cottages were a great escape from what has been going on in the world. We needed this vacation and the cottage didn’t disappoint. Close to everything and had everything we needed. Will be back again.

Don’t book online! I reserved a cottage today for this weekend ($160+tax is what the cottage was advertised for) using their online system. I filled out the form online, gave them my credit card info and received a confirmation on the site. After booking several activities in the area, I noticed I never received an email confirmation from here so I called them but their phones were down so I tried to email and their email is invalid so I had to reach them on Facebook messager just to find out that the online booking system doesn’t even work and they’re booked for the weekend. I explained that I had paid several hundred dollars for things to do in the area thinking we had a place to stay and now we didn’t. She spoke to the owner about getting a room at their sister hotel and gave me his contact information. I spoke with him this evening and he was extremely rude. Told me that to get a room at his other hotel it would be $300 and had to be 2 nights. He made zero effort to help fix the situation, used covid as an excuse saying he was understaffed, and had a terrible attitude. The person I spoke with over Facebook was very kind and felt bad about the situation but I could not believe how rude the owner was over the phone. I spent the entire day dealing with this between speaking with them and trying to find a room somewhere else.

I did live at the hill cottages for a while in 1976...I was wondering about them. You said they are gone? James and Barbara hill were the owners. Are there any family members in the area ud83eudd14

Was just there this week my family had an excellent time my grandchildren loved it the lake is beautiful cottages have all supplies.in the kitchen and very clean ..the owners were wonderful would stay again
