Niobrara Valley Preserve

I was there for a professional meeting. The new facilities were clean, modern, and provided a great place for a meeting. Amanda and Chad were great hosts and tour guides on the buffalo/bison tour of the Preserve. We discussed prairie management whilst surrounded by bison. Quite the experience! Accommodations were acceptable, but not having AC in the crew quarters was a bit rough, particularly in August. But there were plenty of fans too draw in the cool night sir to make it (slightly) more comfortable.

Small reserve but very nice. Could see some bison

Nature preserve dedicated to conserving the lands and waters upon which all life depends. Is at a biological crossroads and contains multiple ecosystems including oak river bottoms and Sandhills grasslands. There are hiking trails!

Adventurous and educational. Did some volunteer work and enjoyed every minute of it.
