Great variety of truly American fare. Love the chili cheese dogs on poppy seed roll. And who doesn't love a generous slice of chocolate cake!

Had lunch, ordered hot dog, bacon cheeseburger, and fries. Fries were cold, took 'em back and they gave me hot ones. Didn't say 'sorry'. In fact, didn't say anything. Took a bite of the burger. May be the worst one I have ever had, burnt meat dried out beyond dry! Absolutely inedible! In all fairness though, hot dog was good. Ate the dog, threw the burger away. I'd give them 0 stars if I could figure out how do it.

I have been here numerous amount of times and it seems like the beef just keeps getting better and better. The lady once told me that once I try the Vienna beef that I would never eat another Philly cheese steak. It was three years ago when she told me that and I haven't eaten a Philly steak since. Portillo's hot dogs has the best beef sandwiches around you can get a small or large I'll tell you right now go ahead and get the large.

Ok Portillo’s Has a very soft spot in my heartnThree locations in greater area great quick causal authentic Chicago style food. My go to is Italian beef combo “with a sausage link” with sweet peppers and hot peppers. Shakes are amazing the will put a whole piece of cake in the shake if you ask.
