Joah's Ark

Highly recommend visiting Joah's ark petting farm for an hour on a nice day if you have kids. You can tell Jo has experience with kids because she knew how to talk to my kids and interact with them - asking if they want to help feed Kevin Bacon (the HUGE pig), showing them how to throw the corn out to the chickens & turkeys, letting them brush the pony's hair, showing them how to hold their hand flat so the goats can lick the corn off their hand, and helping them feed carrots (we brought our own) to the ponies and lamas. She was super friendly to talk to as an adult as well. We went in the spring when the bulbs were just popping up but I bet it would be really beautiful in the summer as well. Will definitely visit again next year again!

Jo was great! My 5 year old loves animals and this is the perfect spot. It is more like a free range farm but she has a lot of unique animals. He was crabby, and she was so patient and kind and wanted to show him all the animals. There are a wide variety of animals and you can tell she treats them so well. A great experience for kids who love animals or city folk to experience the country.

We went to the Joah's Ark farm in St. Augusta during the first opening phase of covid 19. We rented a private hour and were very happy with our experience! The kids had the best time and the owner was so patient with them. She made the experience both educational and fun. We will be using them in the future, whether it be for an event or another visit!

This place was awesome! Jo was so inviting and really enjoys sharing her farm with families and kids.
