Customer service here is poor, at best. Employees push past customers waiting on to go orders so they can stand in the place where customers stood to wait for their orders. My order was called in and I was told my food would be ready at 6:40, after arriving at said time, my order hasn't when been prepared, and during that time six other to go orders were prepared before my eyes and I was left the last person standing for their order that should have been prepared by the time I was told to arrive. The service here is as comparable to the McDonalds across the street.

I normally love this location and that is why I am giving 4 stars, but tonight was awful! I will warn you that curbside pickup is not actually curbside pickup. You have to go in and still get your order. In my case my order was not ready for at least 30 minutes from the time it was supposed to be picked up and I ordered an hour in advance. I actually never got the food I paid for because I had to leave to go get my wife so that was wasted money :( Normally they are awesome and I love going there but this was a bad night. Weekdays are probably better.

My wife and I have been eating at Cafe Rio since 1997. Many times we would wait over an hour in line at the Provo location and it was worth the wait! We became close friends with the original founders who prided themselves on customer service, quality of food, cleanliness of location and speed of service. They hired hard working employees who took pride in the fact they worked for this company and it showed in the final product. The original owners sold the franchise several years ago. For the most part we still enjoy eating at Cafe Rio and have at several locations. I don't know what has happened to the Spanish Fork store. This was our absolute worst experience in over 20 years of patronage. While sitting in the parking lot we placed our order online @ 6:45 P.M. and decided to wait in our vehicle. Our order would be ready for pickup at 7:00 o'clock. My wife walked in @ 6:58 just on case our order was ready. Of course it was not! Finally I called Cafe Rio's call center at 7:15 to lodge a complaint and request a refund. This location was not overly busy (and nowhere near as busy as the in the old days). My wife informed me the there were some employees who were feverishly working while others were literally standing around twittling their thumbs and still others stood around watching others work. Our order was finished at 7:20. Their excuse was that they were waiting for steak to be cooked. We arrived home two minutes later to a cold burrito enchilada style that have 5 small pieces of steak inside. We will give Cafe Rio one more chance but NOT AT THE SPANISH FORK LOCATION. we're done with them. This location needs to go through some serious re-training and regain quality control with food and personnel. As for us if we want Cafe Rio we'll make the drive to Provo.

The only reason I order from this location is because I work in Springville, and it is the closest location. Most of the time I tend to place my orders online. However, I have noticed that every time I have picked up my order something is missing. On my last visit I had placed 5 orders and ordered two additional 4 ounce house dressings. I asked the cashier if I could get the two extra dressings that I paid for since they were not in the to-go bag and then she looked at me all confused. Don't get me wrong I'll still be going back since it is the only location near my job but I do think they need to pay closer attention to what their customers order and they need more staff members, they are always under staffed.

Bummer tonight. They were super busy and obviously under staffed. Management needs to step it up and do a better job.
