East Side Apartments

I lived here for 2 years & moved out on January 3rd 2021. Never gave them a hard time, always paid rent on time. And when I moved out, never heard anything about my deposit. I called and called to ask about it and no one seem to answer me. After 2 months they finally answered and told me their gonna work on my deposit. Today I received my deposit of 234$ . I gave 900 when I moved in. The apartment was not painted! The carpet was old, and we didn’t want to deal with it so we just Left it like that! I can’t believe how they are! I have videos of how clean I left the apartment when I moved out, I did a walk through the apartment with somebody and they were in surprise of how great we left it . And for what? So that we will get not even half of what we paid ! I would never recommend this place. After this experience. I will still fight for this, because what they wrote down for what they “ use the money for “ doesn’t make sense! You guys need better staffing !

This place is scamming for deposits. Myself and a friend applied on June 25th and were required to put down a deposit in order to have the application ran. They had my move in date scheduled for Wednesday, July 15th. I kept calling day after day to confirm a time to come in but no one ever returned my calls so when Wednesday came, I went up there and they were closed. The following day (Thursday the 16th) I came back to sign the lease and get keys and was told I was not approved, I could not get keys and they weren’t sure I would be getting approved. I spoke with management on the following Monday and was told that my application was approved on July 11th but someone was still living in my apartment. I asked why hadn’t they communicated that and why was I told that I was NOT approved if in fact it was and why was my move in date scheduled for a day that the office is closed. The office staff then lied and told management that I came in on the 16th and told them I did not want the apartment. I had already done a change of address and everything! I took the day off just for moving!! At this point I told them that this is ridiculous and if they are lying and disorganized like this so early on, I no longer want to do business with them. They did not apologize nor try to fix the situation they just said “you aren’t getting your deposit back” My friend who also applied on June 25th, as of today, September 8th 2020, has not heard back on his application. Instead out of no where, their attorney JUST called and asked how can they fix the situation and we said we want our deposits back. They are saying he can’t get his deposit back because he is “changing his mind” on an apartment he was supposed to hear back on within two weeks of applying. It is now September!!! They expected us to be floating in the air until they decided to pick up the phone and call back!? They are unapologetically unprofessional and are SCAMMING!! You should be returning both deposits SMH!!

Very reasonable people fast on work orders Eric and Erin especially is great at what they do.

If I were to give this place zero stars I would. Do Not Rent here. This is place is horrible and they don’t answer the phone. I applied and paid a deposit and I was denied. They have not returned my money. Instead I am playing phone tag with the staff and manger to get my questions answered. They say that they are going to do something and don’t do it. I would never trust them or rent here. They are scammers!!!

Had a showing today at 4PM and the apartment manager/ landlord did not show up. The office was closed and I couldn’t even get into the building until some lady buzzed me in. I called multiple times and no manager answer their phone. The manager who was suppose to tour me today even emailed me saying “ Look forward to meeting you today!“ was never even there. While I waited, a tenant stated that his water in his apartment have been leaking and been waiting for a week or so — unfortunately, maintenance still have not fix the problem.nnVery disappointed and unprofessional. Never got an email back from property manager. I do not recommend this apartment. Please don’t waste your time and gas like I did.
