Super fun place to visit! Be sure you come back often, as displays in the Heritage Room and other area are changed out several times during the year. It's always interesting to get a glimpse of the past. The 2nd Floor Exhibit is terrific!
This has always been my favorite place in town. It's always such a relaxing environment and great to inspire writing!
The Lyon County Museum is a wonderful place to visit throughout the year, but especially at Christmastime. There are many beautifully-decorated Christmas trees to look at and the Heritage Room has an extensive collection of nativity scenes on display.
WOW- what an excellent museum. Very bright and clean. Delicious Schwann's ice cream served at the soda fountain style snack bar. Make sure you stop by if you are in the area.
Fun local museum with lots of interesting bits about the country stuffed into a relatively small space. Don't forget to check out the basement for the log cabin and the jukebox in the main floor works! We had a good time checking it out.
