tldr: Go with Kate. She’s easy-going, knowledgable, and a heck of a negotiator.nnI cannot convey how truly painless (delightful, even) the home buying experience was with Kate Jensen from Brick & Banister as my agent. As a first-time homebuyer with little knowledge of the process, I was relieved by Kate’s patience and eagerness to answer any question I threw her way. And trust me, I had a lot of questions. Maybe it’s her background as a teacher or her genuine enthusiasm for homes in the Twin Cities area, but Kate made me feel informed and heard the entire time we searched for the right home, emphasis on “right.” At no point did I feel pressured to consider a home that wasn’t for me nor was I made to feel insignificant considering my budget — which, unfortunately, was my reality with the first agent I reached out to prior to finding Brick & Banister. Kate was a quick, clear communicator throughout the process, which is a must-have in this market.nnLooking at houses and eventually finding “the one” was the highlight of my spring. In fact, both my partner and I were a tad bit sad once we bought our house because it meant no more house hunting with Kate. That is a testament to how wonderful she is at her job.
