The Residence at the COR Apartment Homes

We love it here. The maintenance and cleaning staff do a great job and everything is kept very clean. Animal friendly.. Nice places to walk your dogs. The management is very nice and responds to questions and/or concerns in a timely manner. It's very peaceful.. Nice neighbors.. Amenities are great.

When my husband and I first moved in we loved the place. The pool area looked super inviting and the building and staff were nice.nnOnce winter hit the windows had ice ON THE INSIDE and our electric/heating bill was never under $300 which is insane for a 2 bedroom apartment. We would literally keep our heat at 67 in the winter and it was still that high.nnThe floors are easily scratched and the washer ring gets moldy even when I would clean it after every few washes and leave the door open when not in use. Storage is good for being a 2 bedroom I will say. The bathroom van comes on anytime you turn the light on and it’s LOUD. Not very relaxing when taking a bath that’s for sure. The carpet was old in our unit when we got it and we got charged a ton when we left for stains. Mind you we lived in the apartment for 1 1/2 years with 2 kids and a dog and cat but okay.nnThen Covid hit and we bought a house at the same time, we had to move out early because we couldn’t afford to pay the mortgage and rent when I had lost my job (due to Covid) and my husbands hours had decreased. Management was not helpful at all nor cared. They said we still had to pay the 2 or so months of rent for leaving early. And charged us another arm and a leg with “cleaning” fees.nnI understand they have a business to run but during that time they could have been more helpful. Once we had moved they emailed telling me to make a payment plan or pay in full in the next 30 days or they would send to collections. Then a week later they emailed saying if I didn’t pay before the end of the day it would be sent to collections. It was extremely disrespectful to tell me I had a month and before I could even get my stuff in order threaten me again. Before I could contact them they ended up sending it to collections so that’s great for my credit. And during a pandemic no less.nnWhile this place has some nice things and looks “pretty” management isn’t great and the place is cheaply made but expensive in terms of rent and bills. Definitely nicer apartments with more helpful and understanding staff.

I have thoroughly enjoyed living here! The management and maintenance staff are very professional and efficient. The residents are kind. I am very particular with cleanliness and have been impressed with the state of the grounds and units. Wonderful experience!

Instead of managing, they just shut down all the amenities when there is a problem. We pay an outrageous amount of rent, but they close everything at 5 p.m. so people who work cant use the pool, grills, or firepit. We were supposed to get new grills last fall, but management was lying and just telling us what we want to hear.

I have been a residence here at the COR for 3 years.nThis is an incredible place to live! From the management to the maintenance, I can say that I have never been disappointed. The building is always clean and the grounds are consistently well maintained. If you want to feel that “at home “ feeling, I would highly recommend living at the COR.
