Dept seems mainly concerned with generating revenue for city via speed traps and other frivolous traffic ‘violations’. Maybe try to “serve and protect” your deserving citizens through more engagement and crime-fighting.

Thank you very much and God bless you all and I owe it to Ecorse Police Department the Baker Shift and you all help me to reignite Me with my son again it has been 11 months 317 days I haven't seen my son but now you all help me to reignite Me with my son I really appreciate you all at Ecorse Police Department 3869 W Jefferson Ave 48229nnThe police officers help me to get my son back their names are..! Ecorse Police Department gets a 2.5 to a 3 .0 rating from me. I am a returning Ecorse resident. Their community policing to me is a 3pt however the station duty sometimes are a 2.5, that's regarding the patience to handle certain criminal complaints.nnThe City of Romulus came all the way out to my home when I was providing information in regards to a runaway child. The City of Ecorsee will do the same and have done the samething when it came to helping me to locate a missing child. I did not know where to go to seek help in search for my own child. At the station the shortness of communication and the misinformation in the confusion is what is rated 2.5. There is some controversy going on between the age of a minor and legal age of an adult in the eyes of the law. A 17 year old is a child and considered a minor unless a crime is committed; Ecorse PD says not, a 17 is considered an adult. Weighing in against a 23 or 22 year old I beg to differ and is the basis of my rating and argument.

This has to be one of the worst police stations in the world...they cant catch a criminal when eye witnesses watched them committing a violent crime. Not to mention LAZY & RUDE down at the station...will not lift a finger to stop a dangerous criminal. Its really pathetic people of Ecorse need to protest this police station and get some new officers in there for the safety of Ecorse. Peoples lives are at risk every day because of their gross negligence.
