Not like I remembered
Put it like this I like Captain D's but I love Long John Silvers. The one on Preston a lot more professional. Plus they not as stingy as New Cut when it comes to the condiments.
Love the batter-dipped fish and chicken with coleslaw and hush puppies. I like malt vinegar, but tartar sauce great too. Good value for under $11.

It's an LJS; if you're expecting a light and flavor-complex meal, this ain't it. But, if you want fast-food fish, they have the best. Their fish pieces are usually bigger than Captain D's, and, for my money, the batter is better.nnThis location is a bit unfortunately placed re: getting in & out safely any time when there's even a vague hint of traffic. And while LJSes are reliably painfully slow at the drive-thru, this one at least manages not to be any worse about that than usual. Other positives: my order has always been correct, the food has never been cold, and the employees have always been at least polite (usually downright friendly).nnIf you want fast food fish or an LJS in particular, this is a good choice.
