Crothers Elementary School

I decided to Homeschool instead of sending my daughters back to this school. I have twins one of my Daughters Kindergarten teacher Mrs.K was amazing. I love her teaching method. The other one Mrs. Snyder was the total opposites. She has belittled my child on numerous occasions. During the pandemic when the kids transitioned to virtual learning I had my daughter removed from her class. I was told my daughter would receive credit because she missed only a few assignments but completed the majority. Well once I received my daughters report card. My daughters original teacher Was responsible for grading her report card and decided since she didn’t see evidence of her doing it that she assumed she didn’t know it and gave her NC credit in 3 subjects furthermore left a snarky remark stating My daughter didn’t receive credit because she didn’t see evidence of her doing it and that she still believes my daughter should repeat kindergarten and that no matter what school she attends she will have a hard time learning. Since my daughter has been home and not in her class she has been reading, doing her assignments with no help, and exceeding. Mrs.Snyder knows that this record follows my kid and purposely gave her zero credit based off an assumption. Her attitude towards 5 and 6 yr olds is beyond me. My daughter didn’t feel comfortable learning in her class because of it.nnAlso I was told I needed to have a meeting about my girls and so I did a video call with 3 teachers and the principal Mrs. K spoke highly of my child and my experience having her in her kindergarten class. The other teacher didn’t say anything nice about my daughter in fact she set there taking notes and looking mad the entire time. She wasn’t a fan of my 5 yr old at all.nnThe Kindergarten classes are too large. They don’t do field trips, they have no extra curricular activities, and the teachers are petty especially when you have your child removed from there class.nnI dont know what vendetta this teacher had out for my daughter but I really don’t like how she was treated her first year attending school.nnThe Staff in the Office is nice...Most of the other teacher were friendly.

Good school great teachers office lady's very very rude

The staff is so nice. Went to pick up my grandson at the office everyone talked even the principal.
