I had what I thought was a simple request. Replace a laundry faucet , No Cutting, just Two fittings to solder. I thought this to be something learned in plumbing school and for sure less than a hour job. First he started heating the faucet and I asked if he should since there was rubber washers. He said he knew what he was doing and after Completely Destroying the faucet, he looked at me like what to do. He went to the store and got another one and after THREE trips to the Store for stuff, ( I have No Idea what they must have in the truck ) and by the way i am paying for him to drive a around. It FINIALLY was done. It ONLY TOOK FOUR Hours and by that time i just wanted Him Out of My House. I had Solder and Flux all over my basement floor. No Mats / No Work Surface just a Mess. The Bill had No Detail breakdown, as i said before by that point i just wanted him OUT.
I wish I could add some more stars to the review. Fantastic job by both crews. You made a potential crisis easier to swallow. Thanks for the prompt service and the professional job by both crews.
When my basement flooded they showed up, were respectful and courteous. When he made no headway, I agreed to let him call in a subcontractor who was rude and left cigarette butts all over my driveway. He complained the whole time about how the basement finishing had put up too many walls and he couldn’t get to the drain. I agreed to what I thought would be a small-ish hole in the bathroom wall so they could more easily get to the drain. The hole is waaay bigger than it needed to be at 4 feet high and 3 feet wide. They broke the floor bolt covers on the toilet, overcharged me and left , without clearing the issue. The guys that came the next day and ended up excavating my yard charged a little more than Slade’s to actually fixed the problem without breaking any of my property. I called and left a message asking for a return phone call ... nothing. They cashed the check pretty quick though. Complete ripoff.
This company is a great value - friendly, professional, quick to respond, excellent at communicating, and the bill was fair and reasonable. (I called for quotes from 3 other plumbers before committing to my appointment.) Firstly, Cheryl answered the phone and gave me great insight regarding the potential bill I was looking at and offered friendly customer service. The guys that arrived at my home, Paul and Reid, were so nice to my fur babies (pet them and gave them attention) and shared their own fur stories with me while I was panicking over my flooded basement. They quickly fixed my drain issue in 30 minutes or less, cleaned up after themselves, and were off on their way. This was an excellent way to quickly solve a major household problem. Two thumbs up, 5 fives, and I'd EASILY RECOMMEND this company to any of my friends/family.
