I got pulled over for not using my turn signal into my driveway.. turned into a whole Fiasco with 9 squads and 3, k9 units all over nothing and had to go to court to get a turn signal ticket dropped. Very hypocritical and unjust people

My adopted son was murder june 14th 2017 case went cold and we still have no one in custody or information. The family needs answers and no one is doing their job

I have had this department called to my place of business several times. They have always been very professional and courteous while they were there. No complaints and they always do what they can.

Rockford Police are useless. Don't bother calling. Called 911 a week ago. Showed up 45 minutes later. Take the law into your own hands. Police encrypted radios to hide what they are really doing. Police get called into court and can fix the police report. RPD is covering up to save against lawsuits.

Got my car impounded for recording two African Americans being arrested. The driver asked me to that had gotten pulled over. Don’t know why my last post on here got deleted but IM BACK! I was riding in the back seat with my son in my lap when my brother noticed police were behind us. We had just dropped his girlfriend off and the officer was pissed because I recorded him earlier. He came to the car and seen me in the back seat with my son and no one in the front with my brother and lied like he seen me driving ALSO lied like he had just been on duty for 15 minutes when I recorded him two hours earlier. I don’t drive because my l’s are suspended and have went to JAIL in ROCKFORD for driving on a suspended license. The OFFICER ATE SMART POPCORN DURING MY ARREST AND TOOK MY CAR all because they were probably stopping black people for no reason and I caught him on camera L. Pozzli or Pozzi was his name. Now I’m in the process of going to court to get my money back but also suing for harrassment. 2 weeks AFTER my car got impounded dcfs shows up at my door saying police called in reference to the situation that happened when my car got took and reported NEGLECT because my son was in my lap and not in restraints WOW and this happens the week after I talk to internal Affairs about what was done to me. Sounds like the officer got mad and called dcfs because I called internal affairs. Which is FINE because even the dcfs worker called bs seeing as how the incident happened on sept 7 and they didn’t get a call till the 22nd. I have a lawyer and we’re ready to take this officer head on. Rockford pd does not get to mistreat people of color for protecting other people of color. The officer told me I don’t know my rights and it didn’t matter WHAT I SAID no one would believe me. Then I got into the police car and asked him WELL DONT YOU THINK YOU SHOULDNT BE SAYING THIS TYPE OF STUFF YOURE MAKING IT EASY FOR ME TO DEFEND MYSELF. He said OH IT DOESNT MATTER WHAT I SAY IN HERE WE DONT HAVE AUDIO RECORDING IN THIS VEHICLE. To protect and serve is a joke they are bullies and will strike you in every angle to try to make you back down but POLICE DO NOT SCARE ME ONE BIT. They are human too and often forget it.
